While my parents were visiting, we took a little trip to REI. Now, as many of you know, no weekend is complete without a trip to REI. If you ask Nathan what he wants to do on a Saturday morning, he will say one of three things ... go camping, go hiking, or go to REI. Given that camping and hiking are not on my parents' top 20 list, we decided on REI.
While we were there, Nathan decided to try a little outdoor rock climbing. In these pictures, you will see much bigger kids in the background who walked away saying that this rock is too high. But not for Nathan. David helped him with foot placement, and hand his hands close in case something happened, but Nathan did all the climbing on his own.
